EMPP
Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot
- Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) launched the Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP) to provide pathways to permanent residence for skilled refugees. The EMPP helps employers find skilled refugees for positions that can’t be filled domestically due to British Columbia’s labour shortages and;
- helps skilled refugees and other displaced people immigrate to Canada through economic programs
- gives employers access to a new pool of qualified candidates to fill job openings
